We drove up to DC to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. It was great fun (except for the traffic). Holly played with her cousins, got some excellent kisses from "rocket dog", had breakfast out with friends, snuggles from family and learned to give me a high-five in the car. Holly liked turkey but really wants to know where I've been hiding this secret wonder called pumpkin pie all her life. Except for a 3-5am pajama party and a potentially connected refusal to nap all day on Thursday, things went pretty smooth. Unfortunately, her run-in with antibiotics has left her with a nasty yeast infection. It's on its way out thanks to treatment, but diaper changes are just no fun these days. Luckily, Holly's smile returns as quickly as it fades. And for that, we're very thankful.
